Journey Construction Group completed this renovation in Muskegon for Marks Orthodontics, a local full-service orthodontics office. Journey was the general contractor, utilizing construction management services to complete construction in two phases. Two phases were necessary to combine two suites into one, while allowing full occupancy during construction. The waiting and reception area was expanded, focusing on an open concept layout to seat more patients. From having patients sitting on the floor to having ample seating for patients waiting. The service areas were renovated and modernized, adding a sixth patient chair. Two consult rooms were created, separating the private office. These modifications increased the daily patient limit to 90. Journey Construction solved two main growing pains by combining two suites into one and making modifications for growing clientele.

Journey Construction developed a plan to expand Marks Orthodontics effectively and efficiently. With growing clientele and not enough space, Dr. Marks came to us looking for a solution. Maximizing their footprint allowed for an open concept and easy flowing layout.

The suite behind their previous operations was purchased by Dr. Marks, allowing for a combination of both suites to grow their space. Journey finished the second suite in Phase One, creating a large private office with a private restroom for Dr. Marks and her husband who is also the office manager. Two consultation rooms were also added for new patient consults, allowing for a more efficient flow of space.
