BP is a multinational oil and gas company with over 500 gas stations in Michigan. Journey Construction Group acted as the design builder with their construction management professionals to complete this new build in Allendale. Located right outside of Grand Valley State University, students can easily access food and fuel resources. A smart location chosen to close the gap of access to gas and convenience stores to students and local families in the Allendale area.
Although Grand Valley State University has been around for over 60 years now, there has been a recent spike in admissions and new developments within the area. Allendale has continued to grow, which in turn creates more advancements for the local community, including students.
This BP gas station and convenience store strategically chose the right location for a new build. Right by GVSU, but also perfectly placed between Lake Michigan and downtown Grand Rapids.

Journey was tasked to construct this new build at a time where gas stations and convenience stores were lacking in the Allendale area. This new construction helped bring more access to the local community.
With the perfect location between Lake Michigan and Grand Rapids, Allendale has seen tremendous growth within recent years.
