For the Second Story Counseling project, our team completed a thoughtful second-floor remodel and renovation designed to support the organization’s continued growth and commitment to client care. By combining two existing suites into one cohesive space, we were able to significantly expand their footprint and increase the number of private counseling rooms—helping accommodate a growing client base across West Michigan. A key priority throughout the project was creating a comfortable, welcoming environment while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. We incorporated enhanced soundproofing measures to ensure privacy between sessions, resulting in a space where individuals and families can feel at ease, heard, and supported. The finished environment reflects Second Story Counseling’s mission to provide clarity, healing, and meaningful change through a setting that is both functional and inviting.
